Dr. Salwa Daoud, Dental Program Instructor, has been with Drake College since 2008 teaching the Biomedical Sciences classes. In 1985, Dr. Daoud attained a Bachelor Degree (M.B.B.C.H) Medical School of Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Some of her past prestigious work experience consists of Primary Care Physician of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness(I.M.C.I)/ Mostakbal Medical Center, Egypt. 2000-2008; Neurodiagnostic Technician/ Sall and Myers Medical Associate 1996-2000; and being a substitute teacher at Glen Ridge Board of Education, NJ 1994-1996. Dr. Daoud attained the following prominent certifications: Cornell University Medical College, New York City, NY, Clinical Neurophysiology Certification, 1998; National Healthcare Association (NHA)/ EKG Technician Certification, NHA, NJ 1998; Clinical Medical Assistant Certification, NHA, NJ 1998; (I.M.C.I) Certification 2000; Family Planning Certification, Egypt 2004; CPR Certification 2009; Methods of Teaching Biomedical Sciences Certification 2009; Work Place Blood Born pathogen Certification 2009; and Management of Oral Ulcers in HIV Patients 2010. |
